I am living in KSA right now.
1. I am interest 1 Kanal file in DHA Multan.
could you please advise the procedure for transferring the file to my name ?
2. what is the cost of transfer ?

Dear Sir,
You have to send Advance Token Money along side Two Passport size phots and CNIC/ NICOP. The payment should be in Pakistan.After locking the deal intimation letter will be available in 5 to 10 working days. Your any representative can collect letter on your behalf. Allocation Letter will issued to you only on your physical appearance in
DHA Multan Office.

1. does intimation letter means that it will be eligible for balloting or I have to get allocation letter for balloting?

2. in order to sell the file/plot I should be in Pakistan?

After affidavit transfers an intimation letter tells you that you can collect your allocation letter on a certain days wait. You receive your allocation letter or not your file is included in ballot.

Development charges intimation letter only tells you what plot number you are allotted and how much money and at what dates it will have to be paid.

DHA allow transfers without development charges with an affidavit from buyer that he is aware when development charges will be announced they will be paid by buyer.


A seller must travel to Pakistan to sell plot. Power of attorney transfer possible but takes 3 months. No buyers accept this much wait for transfer to complete after making full payment. No seller willing to complete transfer without getting paid first so this type of deal never happens.

Real Estate Market Outlook

Dear Friends,

From real estate point of view, if we see number of changes have occurred or are occurring in Pakistan which are mostly positive. Some of these are

1. Law & Order/ Security situation in the country has improved drastically over last one and half years.

2. After JC Report, political stability is expected to improve in a positive way.

3. Local bodies elections are also a positive step going to take place in near future.

4. Economic Corridor is going to boost Pak economy in a big way.

5. Civil-Military relations are all time good.

6. Economic Capital of Pakistan ie Karachi is being cleaned very soon which is likely to boost the economic situation further.

7. Energy situation is likely to improve by end 2017 thereby further strengthening the economic situation in the country.

8. China has promised to establish number of industrial zones in the country which will increase the buying power of common man.

Keeping in view above obvious factors, one can easily say that there is expected huge escalation in real estate market. So probably this is right time to invest for max benefits during price hike in real estate mkt.

Facts on ground are always different than what one wishes and cannot see living abroad. The first hand info is from those who face it in real time life; the media is a business now a days. I do want prosperity and stability in my country painted by Farrukh but GA and Ahmet's points are much more convincing and realistic for the time being now.

Which channel we should watch - "ARY" ? Brother, each channel have its own agenda. In Pakistan, TV channel is good if it is matching my view point and supporting my political party. That is how TV channels are bracketed in Pakistan. Take my word, all these channels work for their financial benefits only. The only difference among them is source of their benefits.

I agree with ur analysis/ information about present situation. But plz note I am optimistic about future of Pakistan. All I have pointed out is about future. And I still believe that things will improve IA and we will see prosperous Pakistan will booming market here.

Call LRE for current price. Lock file price and transfer date by sending 1 to 2 lacs token money to LRE. Provide two pictures CNIC copy of purchaser to LRE. Make demand draft(Also called pay order) for seller and provide copy of pay order to LRE. Buyer or buyers representative in Pakistan will travel to Multan on transfer day with LRE staff or alone to have transfer inside
DHA Multan office. Transfer papers are submitted in DHA Multan office in 1st half of the day. On same day in couple of hours buyer or buyer representative will receive intimation letter from DHA Multan transfer officer and after receiving intimation letter a demand draft is handed over to seller.


Buyer can now wait for 2 days and receive his allocation from DHA Multan office. If buyer is outside Pakistan he will receive it any time in future when he visits Pakistan.

During all transfer buyer is fully protected by LRE. LRE will be responsible for token money and full payment is handed over to seller ONLY after buyer or his rep actually gets his intimation letter from DHA Multan office.
