NTN (tax) NUMBER

Dear all members of forum,
For overseas ,there is no such income tax so most of overseas do not have National Tax Number (NTN).
As you know that the new imposed advance Property tax (for NTN hoder 1% and for non NTN holder 2%).SO if somebody from overseas want to invest in Lahore,
please discuss the simplest way to get NTN number to avoid 2% tax without future tax department troubles.

Awami Villas Lahore - Development Charges

I have got it confirmed that Bahria Town has not imposed any development charges on its Awami Villas project yet. Your dealer has provided you wrong information in this regard.

Having said that I am of the view that Bahria Town will impose some kind of charges upto Rs.200,000/=. It seems that the amount will be payable after possession and in installments.

Things are now changed a lot. In present situation, Awami Villas Lahore are being offered as an apartment / flat project in Bahria Orchard Lahore.
The premier villas are supposed to be offered on ground floor and standard on other floors.
These villas are being developed in Bahria Orchard. The speed of construction work (check from the link provided below) shows that possession could be offered within 2015.
These are my views and I don't have any inside information.

@ kaisarani sb... thanks for the info.. it doesnt make any difference as i have already sold the file....actually we overseas people are proned to get decieved as we can only trust the word of dealers and cannot confirm from different sources.. thanks to this website that we have been provided with a platform to get valuable info

I fully agree. It's on main khyban jinnah. Litigation free. Close to wapda town valencia and lda avenue. Health education all in proximity. Only issue is management is dull slow infact lazy. No development.

DHA PH 7 ripoff

Another ripoff from investor mafia in DHA ph7 happened. As usual they hyped the market for couple of weeks and collected some cream and exit the market but here they couldn't play long because of phase 7 being in market for so long and dead end location but always genuine buyers especially the overseas buyers get hit bcaz of time and travel hurdles and lack of quick action in the market due to absence.
But question remain is How to control this investor mafia?

My answer is: Government should increase taxes and transfer fees to the limit that this mafia not feel comfortable playing the swap game like here in USA.

cant sell when market is high since we are not in Pakistan....cant purchase when market is low

I prefer to make long term investments since short term game cant be played while staying overseas

Dr Ali Hassan Sahib, I am not sure what you mean by "taxes and transfer fees like here in USA." To my knowledge there is no taxes and transfer fee on real estate transactions in the US. If you are thinking of title insurance, that is not a tax.
