DO NOT rush to buy immediately after Phase 9 balloting as
prices will be adjusted to actual figures. Prices are strongly lined up to fall down. You can get 1 kanal Corner/Main Road or atleast Good Location plot in 75-80 lacs, just wait for around 2-3 months.
It will also bring other DHA phases prices downward too.
Just wait and watch.

I am living in Qatar and my son finished his GCSE (British Curriculum) with B grade in Math C grade in English, IT & Business and D in Chemistry in 2014, and this year hopefully he will be getting B grade in A level business studies.
According to his subject’s grade and his interest in business studies OR IT, which college or University (for foundation year even) is good with hostel in Lahore.

In my opinion as an educationist, I suggest him to do BBA (IT) or BBIT from UCP or university of the Punjab. LUMS is an ideal choice but the grades are bit low and hard to get admission. The generic degree in Business with specialization in IT opens many doors for the graduates. The rationale is that "IT" is a backbone of any business and professionals who understand the dynamics of business and alignement of business strategy with IT strategy can comfortably work in any multinational or any other reputed organization.

The trend has change and IT certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or Microsoft certifications are more valuable in industry now a days. while doing BBIT he must do industry relevant certifications. Secondly, the interdisciplinary degree gives more options to specialize at masters level. If he develop more interest in 'IT' then he can do masters in IT otherwise MBA from any reputed university is a good choice.

I think , COMSATS offering Dual degree program from Lancaster university too. It is a good option and degree will be internationally recognized.

Just a quick note about last sentence of brother Ahsan.
COMSATS dual degree program from Lancaster University is not offered any more. Until now COMSATS failed to provide the dual degree.
The matter is in the court nowadays.

I think no one paid attention to M Khayyam Post, I think he mentioned that child is academically weak.
Guess just consult an educationist and know strengths and weakness of the Child and also his aptitude, only then best decision can be made foundation year is a good idea,
A foundation year is an extra year of study at the start of a university course. It allows students who don't meet the entry requirements for the normal course to fill in the gaps and go on to study a full degree.

Phase 7 Possession update

Dear CMY sb,

A few days ago, you had promised to update about DHA phase 7 development. Could you kindly advise the status of the DHA phase 7 and when you expect the update. Kindly also specify when you expect the possession of X, U and Y blocks lower cutting?

I updated that DHA 7 blocks to get possession by Dec 30 2015. Couple of months before or after this date for sure. 90% work is now complete.

Inclusion in Phase 9 Ballot

Dear CMY Saheb,

I am an overseas Pakistani. I bought phase 9 file on name of my wife and received intimation letter on name of my wife.

My question is if the file will be included in the ballot. My wife has not yet visited DHA to received the allocation letter.

Mr CMY Please comment. Brother I went through a very same situation as yours. I recived the intimation letter on May 8th. If you don't have allocation it will NOT be part of balloting. It take 15 - 30 days to get allocation. I know it was a disappointment but hopefully next ballot will happen in 3 - 6 months. Actually..It is all agents fault. They are selling effidivit
files and later you find out that it is not part of ballot since it does not have a allocation. In the long term it does not matter. Some people will make profit now and some after few months may be ever more later when people will discover how much desirable Phase 9 is after official release of MAP.

Once an intimation letter is issued its automatically becomes an allocation letter in 30 days and you will get a plot in ballot on May 15 2015.

To get a plots no after ballot you do need allocation number. To get allocation number call DHA on phone or via email.

If you dont call or cant get answer dont worry plot number and development charges intimation letter will be sent to your Pakistani or overseas address on record in about 2 to 4 months time from ballot day.

If your address is not current with DHA get it changed in next 1 month.

Mr CMY please kindly clarify. I asked you the same question on May 8th. I bought a file it was an effidvit and they gave me a intimation letter on my name. And they told me that allocation letter will be sent out in 30 days. Please kindly correct me you mentioned it wont be balloted on May 15 since it was an effidivt and it does have allocation number..Please kindly clarify ..may be I misunderstood. ? Any way I can make sure if I can provide you any number and we can check if I am part of ballot or not. CMY Please kindly reply.

MM As per DHA announcement any affidavit that got processed after April 30th will not be in ballot.

Day your affidavit is transferred it becomes an allocation file. Only DHA keep its in file and hand it over to you in 30 days. You could pay urgent fee and collect your allocation today.

MM bhai according to DHA announcement these affidavit
files are not going in ballot. You dealer knew at May 8th but still dishonest dealer gave you file. That is wrong.

But I must tell you chances are all files that had allocation letter on May 14th will make to ballot. In past ballots this was the practice. Also DHA never explained what it means by issued. An affidavit could have been issued 1 year ago but was only transferred to you after April 30 2015.

Even if you wont get a plot now every 3 to 6 months there will be on going mini ballots where you will be allotted a plot in DHA9 Prism current master plan.

I request you to not take it to your heart. There is still chance for you to get a plot on May 15 2015

MR CMY. Thank you for clarifying. I was really disappointed. Now it says that I will get the allocation letter in 30 days which would be after May 15th. DHA has a procedure where you pay extra money and you can get allocation letter in 2 days. The fee was really high. Mr CMY do you think it would have make any difference by paying extra fee and be part of balloting? ALSO Mr CMY it will be my last question of day that how would I know on May 15th If I got lucky and I am part of balloting..How do I check?

MM even if you didnt pay urgent fee to collect your allocation its already made and sitting in your file in
DHA Lahore and have good chance to be in ballot.

No time left to check it. Ballot is tomorrow.

I will pray that you do get a plot against your file. I be more happy than you if you did get a plot. Please keep me updated.

Send me intimation photo or scan to Info@LREPK.Com and let me see If its in ballot or not yet. With all transfers today I cant promise it will be checked out 100% but I will try my best to call someone in DHA myself to find out about your files to see if its going in ballot or not.

What I understand from your reply is that it does not matter if I got the file transferred on my wife's name in her absence. It will still be part of the ballot once intimation letter is issued.

Other question is will my wife need to do some signatures or photo session once she receives allocation letter.

I am sorry you won't be able to get back construction cost fully . plots are easily sellable . built house is not that easy . if I am paying full plot price and full construction cost then why I should not build a new house as per my own needs and design.

If i put myself in show of a buyer who has 3 crores in pocket then i would prefer to build my own house at
location of my choice. Many people prefer it as then they build the house the way they want to. This results in less buyers for built houses and they sell at lower prices. This is personal experience. I lived in A block EME and the owner initiated selling his house back in November for 3 crores. I have not shifted and till 30th April he did not find any buyer. It was very good house with 7 bedrooms with 4 car porch.

In regards to the 4 marla cost ...
You have to explain us your plot
location as prices varies in behria, dha , eme etc.

Normal prices of gray structure is Rs 900 per SQ (with Material) Foot near multan road societies. Also it depends upon societie laws, how much covered area is permissible by the society and how far violation is acceptable.
Withoout material it will cost you rs 280 Labour per sq feet for gray structure including electric , pluming and tile fixing and any one who supervise this project will take management fee to guide for material buying as per specified quality and he will charge you 10% of the construction cost .
This is where you can save cost by becoming supervisor of your own property but persanlly I would recommend if some one have no experience then he must not lose money to become experienced person as it is very difficult to handle this low class labour, insure material quality e.g difference if sands between ravi and chanab, cruch (bajri) between marlgala and sargoda, bricks of a and B quality , branded and non branded steel and difference is double.
