Dear CMY,

I have a plot in T block Phase VII. Please let me know whether this is a good time to sell the plot?

Will balloting of Phase 9 will have any impact of Phase VII plots?

2.8 million investment for one year

Dear CMY
This is my first post in LRE discussion forum. I've been following it up from last week and got some really good insight about when to invest in.
Right now, I'm having around 2.8 million which I want to invest in real estate for a year. Can you please advice the best possible option?

Yes Khalid bhai I had to sell my dream house. It was not worth to keep that beauty un occupied for this long time. I just could not see it getting deteriorated with out any body living in it. Giving any house on rent is noting but waist of money and major headache.

During 12 month construction spent many hours daily there leaving all office tasks daily to Adil Bhai to take care . Built it the way I was gonna live there all my life. Where one ton steel was needed put in 2 tons to protect my family from earth quack etc


Sorry some other lucky person already got it. My one year sweat was in this house.

My current three bed room house in USA is smaller than my one bed room and bath room in that DHA 6 house. Even now people stop there cars to take a picture from out side.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh miss it badly

This is called luck. Not necessarily you get as you plan. Some time I think fear behind mind does not allow overseas Pakistanis to come and enjoy some of their life in Pakistan and they always think they may get back to square one.

I know your are away on medical ground But this is also true we don't have much confidence on local hospitals.

Pakistan is superb place to live and I wish and pray for your safe return and have construct even bigger and better sweet home.

We all know with your exceptional insight you bought many DHA9
files after selling your house when price were on lowest territory ready to jump to higher and higher grounds. Selling your house was not a bad move after all.

Hi CMY/LRE,

Can you please let us know about the latest advertisment that is posted in papers regarding litigation and illegality of Block F1,F2 in Pak Arab. Few months ago prices were rocketing high. I have a plot of 5 M there , will this dispute be resolved between LDA management and Pak arab?

Also shed some light on Fazaaia Phase 2 , its prospects and development. How do you forecast its future?

Stay firm. Pray that you get a great
location. Dont worry of will swings up or down in next days till ballot. You are in property market. Its not stock market. Your hold time of 3 to 4 years can give you 100% gain from today's price.

Too small amount to do much. Better stay where you are.

If still want to sell we do have buyers grom market so let me make some money from sale commission too :)

DHA Plot selling without presence in DHA

Dear CMY sahib,
I hope this post finds you in well health, I need your advise, I am living in North America and have 1 Plot in DHA Town which i want to sell now, but due to certain reasons, I cannot go to Pakistan. Is there any way (like power of attorney etc. under the name of father, mother or relatives) that I could sell this plot without going to Pakistan. Your advise will really help me to plan further and will be really appreciated.

Your dealer need to find a buyer that can pay you some or all money and wait for 46 to 90 days for transfer to complete.

You will send a power of attorney to DHA for transfer on their approved power of attorney for transfer that will be signed in front of embassy staff and attested by them you send it to your relative

Your relative will transfer property for you inside
DHA Lahore office. Buyer gets no papers till transfer 100% complete

DHA send directly same transfer power of attorney to same embassy again for varification. After paper come back direcly to DHA office after varification DHA completes transfer.


No buyer will go through all this trouble and wait of 3 months. You wont trust him for payment delay he wont trust you will complete transfer after get some or all funds. I did this kind of one transaction in my life time but luckily did go thorough smoothly because both buyer sellers knew each other in USA and could trust each other funds.


Best way to do is to transfer property to your mother father or other relative in Pakistan and then have them sell and transfer to some buyer.

No other way out possible.
