@Saima - All of Habib sb's points are valid. Although, I would humbly disagree with the point on 2 kanal plots being a "cluster". 2 kanal plots are usually a cluster no matter what part of DHA you look at. In fact, most purchasers of 2 kanal plots would always want to buy in the 2 kanal vicinity and not where you are facing one kanal or 10 marla plot. While I do agree with Habib sb's point on "not an ideal location" for U block plots, I think (and you can visit on ground and see for yourself) that the X block 2 kanal plots are on a reasonable location. Direct approach from Golf course 150 ft road and about 2 minutes drive from the Golf course.
Furthermore, this is also evidenced by the fact that while 1 kanal plot is available for 80-85 lacs, the 2 kanal plots are in excess of 185 lacs so you can see that like the rest of the DHA, even in phase 7, the price of 2 kanal is more than double!
Finally, I do agree with Habib saab's point that you should consider 2 kanal if you may also want to consider building your home, otherwise no point putting all "investment" in one place. I do not yet have a plot in phase, however, for me, I am looking for a plot where I could construct a dream home in next 5 years YET at the same time, if I wish to sell it, it gives me a good gain. In my opinion, 2 kanal plot will go up with the same factor as 1 kanal plot (maybe even more given there are VERY few 2 kanal plot in Phase 7). So if one kanal goes up from 80 to 120 lacs (i.e. a percentage increase of 50%), a 2 kanal plot is bound to be around 285 lacs to 300 lacs.
