BLOCK WISE FILES IN DHA PHASES

Please let me know whether the plots are allotted against the dha files according to blocks or files are open and plots can be allotted in any block as a result of ballotting,

For All available files of all phases you cant predict in which block you will get plot after ballot.

Can anyone explain that state life phase 2 is adjacent to dha phase 9 but there is a hell of difference in the prices of the plots in SL 2 and the prices of dha phase 9 files.

aoa,bro, it,s the brand which cost u most second the development standard of DHA .Example: In mkt u pay more for BATA shoes as compared to non branded shoes.

The brand of DHA AND SL have no match second just check the development standard of both housing socities, third the resale of DHA is more as compared to SL.

DHA Lhr Membership fee

Assalam-O-Allaikum
I bought phase 9 1 kanal file from LRE 4 years ago that I sold last year.(Earning a decent profit.. :-)) Now, If I buy another file of ph 9, do I have to pay the membership fee again ?
Also, please inform if membership fee has to be paid for each file separately, if I buy 2 or more files at the same time ?

Dear LRE,

I have seen the broadway commercial file 8 marla is 330 lacs but also you can get plot 8 marla in same price , which is better and how many years it will take the BroadWay plot (325 lacs) price to rise.Is it advisable to buy file rather than plot in broadway for 330 lacs.

Repair of Roof Top

I want to repair/treatment for the roof top of my house in Askari 10.
What are the steps involved in the treatment of roofs.
Will cementing the roof serve the purpose or I have to go for some other remedies.
Kindly share your experience.
Also share address of good contractor having experience in repairing roofs in Askari 10 lahore.

No body could suggest repair of Askaris...the only remedy is to do it afresh..

Spray thick coat of hot bitumen ( asphalt ) when gets cold cover it with quality polythene sheet preferably double it. then spread 50mm sand with no stone so the polythene sheet and bitumen spray do not get damaged. now place Terrazzo (chips tile) with wet cement mortar sloping out side.

B. cast new chips floor with proper slop to sides.

Note Cement plaster or new concrete in slop will get creak and not a long term solution.

What will be the estimated cost ?
Will it need to shave off the previous structure of the roof or it can be done over the existing roof ?

Not necessarily but you must clean very well the surface with wire brush and remove all loose element before the application of bitumen. Make sure when you lay tiles there is good slop drawn either side.

Cure the tiles by showering water for 7 days so the mortar and grout get good strengthened.

This is little costly but will save keeping your roof cool as well. I am not sure cost wise but it should not take more then a week if you have well equipped workforce.
