The Commissioner of Lahore, Zaid Bin Masood, has announced the upcoming Lahore Development Plan aimed at improving road infrastructure and enhancing city facilities. This initiative, reported on December 8, marks a significant step toward strengthening Lahore’s urban landscape.
During inspections at Nishtar Zone and Data Ganj Bakhsh Zone, Commissioner Masood, along with Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza and MCL Chief Officer Shahid Abbas Kathia, emphasized the adoption of e-tendering and MIS systems to ensure quality work and transparency in all projects.
Deputy Commissioner Raza highlighted the plan’s focus on merit-based construction practices and restoring the city’s aesthetic beauty, addressing long-standing infrastructure issues while ensuring efficient urban management.
