Dear intelligent people. this topic is about comparison
between Askari 10 and D.H.A.
1) Askari 10 houses are bigger in size than DHA houses.
2) Askari 10 is a walled society with security guards on each street.DHA does not have this.
3) Askari 10 has close circuit cameras on every street where as DHA does not have it.
4) Askari 10 provides maximum security. DHA has a history of crime activities taking place.
5) families are interviewed and security checked before they can shift to askari 10. but DHA does not provide that.
6) decent and well reputed families live in askari 10 while anyone can live in DHA.
7)Askari 10 has a very very very VIP location as it has entrance from Ring road (Airport and Mall road).Only Few phases of DHA has that.
8) Social life in Askari 10 with all basic needs.In DHA, people dont even know their neighbours.
9) Limited society with all the attractive packages will increase the house prices as every house will be alloted i.e. one year. but DHA is very big society where you wont get much profit.
10) Buying property is free from dealer games and artificial price hikes as its transfer process is not dealer oriented while DHA properties are a risk of loss and dealer games.
11) Askari 10 has complaint cells for complaints while DHA does not have it.
There must be more points but currently i have these in mind and i think its enough for decent families.
Dear readers, my point is If you are intelligent then you wont buy a 10 marlas which is not actually a 10 marla house/plot, you wont buy a property where you have life threat or crime risks, where your children are not save while playing outside or you dont know who your neighbor is. I am sure everyone you wants a social life with decent people life in society and healthy gaming environment and lush green lawn maintained by Askari 10 authorities and buy a property free of dealer game risks and actual prices. We all know that property of cantt area is expensive but here in askari 10, you can buy a house in cantt on plot price because its free of dealers.Buy Askari 10 property now else you wont be able to buy it after one year. Ask for rental houses, you wont find much. So if houses are not even available for rents, how do you suppose you will be able to buy a house there later.decision is yours to make.be smart.act smart. its your money, why let dealers play with it.

This biased analysis, DHA House tranfer fees is 3 Lac and askari is 6 Lac plus stamp duty. quality of construction is inferior. Askari is ery clse to Air port and Plane take off line. The transfer process of askari is too inconvinient and lengthy, as if you are gegging from them, There is no commercial activities inside onlt small commercial in A Block. There is risk of bombardment in case of war as it is just 1/2 KM from air port.
I have serious concerns about safety of Lahore air port after askari X is made. I dont know why military planners are getting so greedy that they are forgetting all saftey concerns. |

Can someone please confirm is Askari X transferable and if yes what is the process. I heard it doesnt get transferred immediately and one has to wait for some years and if the seller changes his mind in those years the buyer is in trouble. |

Mr. A is right. These houses are transferable and in approx 5 lacs but what the heck, you are buying a house full of every need as mentioned in points and in cantt area and prime locality. |

People who live in askari 10 know that pilots are currently living here.my father is a pilot and his friends live in askari 10. Even a wan of PIA comes to provide pick and drop facility to pilots living here. |

Sorry To say,but quality of construction is extremely poor for that sum of money,Location is great but construction is B(-) class.My sister lives there,safety and location is excellent but the actual house quality is poor,constant swepage,poor wood work,poor quality material with cracks appearing in 2 yrs old house.
If you buy a plot for 10 marla for 45lac in DHA ph 5 u can do a good quality construction for 35 lacs of your own choice,and still save 15 lacs.with no hassle of transfer and a full piece of mind.
The army contractors have done there job as usual FWO ype build.
But map and floor plans are good.
My personal opinion.

Askari 10 location is definitely superb but construction quality is extremely poor and 3rd class. It seems this khan sb has a home to sell in Askari 10 and that has blinded him so that he is making up almost all invalid points. Sorry khan sb this does not make up for really poor quality construction. |

yar these are the stupidest comments i have ever had.All you r talking about is seepage? now where does a seepage come from? bathrooms and kitchens water connection faults? you can buy a house with everything cleared from the beginning or if not, you can fix these water connections worth few thousand rupees and get a house in a secure, awsum locality with every point mentioned above and with complete plot size in a best convenient location.askari 1 is like 30 years old and people are still living there although the flat system has complications.askari 9 is still ok.why are the dealers thinking that buyers r idiots.stop playing with others money. |

I totally agree that Asari 10 is the best place in Lahore to live. It is the biggest Army complex in the country and has every facility which a family needs. Has top school, Beecon House, nice playing grounds including gym and playing facility. The best thing is that it is totally secured from all sides with CCTV.
It is next to Mall, Fortress stadium and International Airport...... |
