Salam, Hi guys, i am looking to buy a plot for residence in near future in either Chinar Bagh or AWT phase 2. I visited both locations and they both look similar i-e few constructed houses and few real estate agents. Prices in chinar bagh are a bit less than AWT. 14 for a good placed plot in chinar bagh as compared to 16 in AWT phase 2.
What do you guys think about this as residence in an year or so. I wanna construct a house and start iving. I know its far but thats the only place i could get one canal plot for this price. Central park is a bit more expensive and never heard anything about elite town. Just saw it on the map and its like a very small society. I don wanna take any risk as this is the only money i have. |

I think 5 Marla is 11-12 lacs. Not sure about 10 Marla. Lahore Real Estate probably deals in Park View Villas, you should contact them. There are couple of agents who regularly display ad in Jang, beware of these thugs. ad will start like "Bafazle Talla ......... |

If you have only these choices then go for AWT, If you can afford goto IEP In about 12 to 13 Lac You can get a plot in E3 Block Close to village. Otherwise good plot is 17 to 20 But make sure that possession of that area is there. In IEP also many area don't have possession. For 10 Merla options in same Budget see TNT abpara [I assume you want to live on Raiwind Road] It is located about 6 KM from Thokar, Light gas water and lot of Construction there. |

As per your budget I suggest you the follwoing: Possessed Plot for ready construction in developed areas: 8 Marla - Bahria Town Sector B (a very good for extraordinary living) 5 marla- Statel Life Phase 1 (good for normal living and in DHA area. There is no comparison of socities in DHA with at raiwind, as DHA area is far better) 1 Kanal= AWT ( only 10-15 houses have been made in 20 years. Outlokk is similar like LDA socities. This will take next 20 years to be populated). 1 Kanal -Channar Bagh ( This will take atleat 5-10 years to be populated, better than AWT) Non-Developed areas: 8 Marla - DHA Rahbar Phase 1 ( if you can wait for max. 1 year) 10 Marla - 1 Kanal- Bahria Town Sector C 1 Kanal- State Life Phase 2 ( great chances of its merger with DHA 9/10) The choice is yours. Development of AWT phase 2 is better than Chinar Bagh. The management is driven by Retired army personals. Generally they are good but sometimes people come, which have discriminatory behavior towards people building houses in particular. I feel they need to be trained for management/ public dealing (if not have past experience) and to be well aware of rules and processes. Lahore office is kind of subsidiary office, but depending on person can go upto 180 deg. wherever possible. |

AWt real state is one of the project of Army Welfare Trust. Beside many other projects Askari bank is his best projects the Askari bank is promising project. Although it is governed by retired army officers but GHQ has also influence. |
