I am about to buy a 10 Marla . 4 bedroom house in Askari x with front open with a green belt of 100 ft and back open. The grey structure is ready and would have fixtures of my choice . The asking price is 13 million. Is it a good deal. The construction is good. Mind u it is far better location than phase 8 proper and parkview with fully gated community and 10 minute drive from fortress

i am residing in askari ten.its HELL for civilians.gated community is just for name every type of crimnal activities can be seen.soon i will shift to state life or hbfc.construction is of v low quality. |

Tashfeen how come its better than phase 8 parkview which is right opposite airport, and is part of DHA |

Gated community? Many times I visited Askari-10 but no body stopped or checked me. All house have seepage........... Very bad construction. |

Initially, the general perception about was that the Askari X will be one of the most secured place to live in Lahore but soon it proved wrong. Two of my cousins live there and both have been robbed in less than a year of their stay. What is more interesting is that most of these thefts are carried out by the domestic servants living or working in Askari X.
Also, the construction quality of extremely shoddy. |

Its better to have a visit of both the places and then decide to live at the edge of runway or a peaceful place of phase-8. For a ready to move house, you can check DHA villas of 4 beds with slightly better construction quality than Askari-10 at the estimated cost of about 9.5 million |

Dear brother neither i own a house there nor have any interest what so ever in sincerity i will tell u that have survey of other societies as well i think it is not that bad,it is not military engineering services rather the engineer corps officers who r responsible for the construction ,yes as compared to Aakari Xl it stands no match & yes for price the LRE people to guide u |

Its not a matter of corruption nor the engineering fault. The construction quality of Askari-X justifies the meager amount that army officers pay for their houses. Secured gated housing is just a perception. The domestic servants are the culprits here. |
