I have read what u guys have shared with us and it would help me a lot.
My mother is also suffering from parkinsons disease but the doctors have took too long to discover that she is having PD. In 2010 she had a stroke and resulted in matabolic emphalopathy as said by doctors. Initially she even did not talk but gradually she started to talk. From last four years the doctors said she is having depression but know in 2014 they say that its parkinsons. So guys i want know who is the best neuro physician in rawalpondi islamabad who could best deal with PD patients.
As i have came to know that PD is not cureable, it has really disappointed me.

the symptoms of parkinson's disease can be controlled very well with medication, although the disease is progressive and incurable. After a few years, the treatment will not be effective anymore and the symptoms may become uncontrollable and usually the chest infections are the most serious issue later in the disease.good luck for the patient and the family

Dear Hidayat,

My father in law has been through the disease and I've witnessed that his health was regularly deteriorated.
I, thing besides medicine the most important aspect is to ensure that she is physically active, ensure that she shouldn't been on bed always. Because once she will be continuously on bed the biggest risk is bed soars. Seek continuously advise from physiotherapist as well.
My best wishes for you and for your family and may Allah bless her. Ameen. Regards, Junaid.
