I recently returned after visiting Lahore & DHA office. I will be honest, ring road (whatever is completed) looks great and connection to DHA Ph 6 onward is really good. I bought 2 more files.
My concern is deteriorating economic condition of the country and high inflation rate (unbelievably high - visited Pakistan after 5 years) It was a shocker to know how the value of money has depreciated in Pakistan and not sure how people are surviving or have savings to invest in property.

overseas uae pakistani you are right, these people are involving to increase the property price in Pakistan. So the people who serving in Pakistan cannot buy land for house, Specially Govt servant. Please note that I am not telling to stop the investment but if you are thinking for the country kindly think for the people also and invest in industrial section. |

@Dear All, no doubt there is a huge potential in Pakistan. We want to invest in our country. As of today we all overseas sending money to Pakistan equal to total export value of Pakistan. We also do hard jobs. Now running a factory or industry in Pakistan need huge investment and then physical presence. Those who had industry but shifted money with industry outside are actual culprits. Plz exclude those who choose to stay and struggling with power crisis. Those who are buying property outside from haram earning in Pakistan are real thief and actual cause of inflation not us. And I am sorry to that when you sitting GOVT offices keep surving politicians then don't think you can make something for your kids. |
