Can someone update what is updated status, and what are rates at the moment especially resale market and what about Plaza and Commercials in this area.

Defence Raya Golf and Country Club
The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) is a renowned name in the real estate world and never fails to surprise with its developments. Location
Pakistan’s first golf resort and housing community is situated in the Phase 6 area of DHA Lahore. It consists of an international standard 18-hole golf course, which sprawls over 400 acres. The area includes beautifully designed luxury homes, a golf and country club, a business center, and a retail center to meet all the demands of the modern consumer.
Variety of Houses
Defence Raya has 10 marla and one and two kanal villas. he 10 marla houses offer a modern take on resort living and are perfect for young families. These houses include four bedrooms, two living rooms, one servant quarter, and parking space for two cars.
The one kanal villas are ideal for families with three to four children. They feature five bedrooms with attached bathrooms, two living and dining rooms, a work area, study rooms, one servant quarter, and space for four cars.
The two kanal villas are large, luxury residences that even have enough space for your extended family. These properties have six bedrooms with attached dressing rooms and bathrooms, two living rooms, dining halls, study rooms, a sundeck and outdoor dining area, two servant quarters, and space for six cars.
Defence Raya also features Concordia condominiums, which also have a strong emphasis on luxury. These 21-storey twin towers have 96 living units in total. These range from 2275 square feet to 4600 square feet. Each tower has a 10,000 square foot penthouse.
Commercial Plaza
This shopping area consists of three individual plazas with areas ranging from 6210 square feet to 8120 square feet. Now days, few investor for their personnel gains and vested interests creates hype in market by comparing Phase -7 with Phase 9 or Ivy Green (Phase 8 Z Block) and then gives logics that phase-7 investment is below par in comparison with phase-9 and Ivy Green (Phase 8 Z Block). I recently visited phase-7 and observed that a number of houses are being constructed and within few years it will be at par with phase-5. People say that those plots which are located closure to drain are not good plots. As per my knowledge, only few plots which are located close to boundary line will be affected, however, DHA plans to cover the negative effects of drain by covering it. Therefore, it will have negligible effects even on plots which are located on outer parameter. One must understand that phase- 7 is attached to main DHA, unlike some other isolated phases and blocks. A number of public sector development projects are being developed in Phase 7, e.g. universities, Knowledge Park, hospitals, golf course etc. DHA has left about 600 ft wide space on the bank of BRB canal to establish beautiful park in future. My sincere advice to all those who intend to buy a plot or file to please visit personally to a place / phase /area before spending your hard earned money

jameei its open concept,no gates no boundries,do u think one can live safely like this in pakistan?this living style is in foreign countries,people there use security systems mostly to protect against chori daaka,

I did not recently visit that area, But I consider it as a "Gem" in DHA 6,7 area, I am more interested in Commercial activities and Shopping plaza which was advertised before.
For houses I don't favor at this stage due to quite high prices but there are good number of houses, soon they will be available in open market for resale let us see what price they hit.
Once people start living there there will be good security
