DHA Town 9 File CMY Shb please help!,

Dear CMY Shb,

Long time reader first time contributor. I am hoping that you will respond and give me some solid Advice as I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I'm not a very rich person and I saved from my salary over a long period of time to buy a 5 Marla file in DHATown Phase 9 in Feb with the intention that I would finally build my home on it once it was balloted and DHATown possession was given. However now with the announcement of Phase 9 balloting & DHATown upcoming possession in 2 months I am very much afraid that DHA may decide to Ballot DHATown files at the same time and in doing so they may give me a plot in Phase 9 proper instead of in DHATown itself. You see when they handed over the allocation letter they ensured that I sign a piece of paper which as far as I understand allows them to ballot me just about anywhere the wording was so vague. They would not give the allocation letter otherwise, and I was assured that they were doing the same with every DHATown file holder.The DHA officer assured me by showing that it mentions 9 TWN in my allocation as membership number. However it strikes as very fishy that they did this just before announcing this phase 9 ballot. I have also heard rumours that DHA pulled a stunt like this with consumers before in a previous phase ballot. If they do this then I will be at a huge loss not just money (I could have bought 5 Marla 9 proper file much cheaper) but in effect I will lose my chance to build a home for the next 5 years until they develop & give possession of 9 proper which I can not afford. The whole point of paying extra for DHATown file was so I would get a Possession plot earlier than Phase 9 so I can build a home asap.
So CMY Shb please give an honest advice & help should I take the risk of the ballot in the hope that DHA will fulfill its original commitment and give me a plot in DHATown or should I cut my losses and sell the file before the ballot? Is there any news from your links in DHA management as to their intentions for the DHATown Files?

Sir as you have 9 town file you will get plot in 9 town for sure, I am sure CMY has made clear this point in his previous post. You have paid for 9 town file which is more money than phase 9 proper so cant see why dha will give you plot out of 9 town. Dha has recently acquired land in block B and adjacent and you can see new plot cutting over there so relax you will get plot in 9 town.

I am not sure how this file be treated. One thing is sure in currently developed DHA town there is no room to accommodate new files. I wrote few days ago Its my GUESS only that DHA admin MAY name couple of blocks next to current DHA town block A B C D to like block E and call it DHA Town E block. I am HOPING that DHA Town that new block get developed 1st and handed DHA town holders asap.

I am also expecting ALL DHA proper 5 marla to be located next to DHA Town blocks to keep all 5 marla in same area. Its will be beneficial to all 5 marla but it SURE will be unjust for you.

If any one in any estate told you that you will get a plot in developed DHA Town my friends I am afraid he was not a good honest person. DHA do choice legaly to give you plot in any block after renaming it DHA town but no where its said it will give you a developed plot. Developed plots cost lot more.

As CMY said, I guess You will get Location near DHA town,and You will see this will be much better location as Compared to Phase 9 5 and 10 merla Files, At least 1/2 X 7 Kilometer strip will carry tag of Being close to Nallah, there will be a green belt of Max 200 feet.
In conclusion your plot will be better Located But regarding develomet it is Looks Correct.
You will get a chance to sell it at good price if you want to make home early.
Pls share with us actually what happened as we are guiding other based on such experiences
