Dear CMY, LRE Team and Jameel Bhai, Shoaib Bhai, and all Phase 9 friends!

I value your insight and advice, please give your evaluation regarding Phase 9 P-980 Corner Plot.

I get the feeling that the area near it will be taken over by DHA via fresh files fairly quickly as I checked on google maps and its all open area till the drain, no villages etc. Plus the shape of P Block cutting towards the bottom and east is quite strange with some other plots in pockets which probably indicates that DHA is in process of acquiring the adjoining open areas. What say you?


Also to all of my Phase 9 Friends Mubarik on the balloting. Even if you haven't gotten the best plots do not be disheartened I am confident that this will eventually be one of or THE best phase in DHA/ Lahore. Be grateful to ALLAH no matter what you have received. I was honestly not expecting the ballot for another year plus & I think Phase 9 will be good for all of us InshALLAH.

It is Nice to be optimistic But Historically if some Pocket have its own access then it is very unlikely to be cleared, I Give You example of Phase 7, Main Boulevard, encroachment at the exit on the Barki Road in Q Block, when first map was issued this was a main attraction and access out of phase 7.
In 9 years you don't know what is not offered by DHA to clear that encroachment But No heed, the reason is they do have access to Barki road why they will agree on 1/3 deal.
Yes if any pocket is surrounded by DHA from all sides then usually DHA can take easily take as though DHA cant block the way { as per Govt rules] but ask for hefty charges for electric and sewage Lines supplies which are not affordable for pocket owner and their option is only to negotiate or sit in Darkness.
Another example of such failed negotiation is Valencia Mian Boulevard near Valencia Homes, access to Defense road is Blocked by a 8 merla Encroachment till they could not win the case.
