We are in process of designing our future home in Lahore. We need expert advice from all experts here. Our plot is 30 width x 75 length facing south in front and north in back side.
We want kitchen, bath rooms and bed rooms to get a lot of sunlight and full ventilation. Also on which side (East or West), we should place the windows to get the maximum ventilation and sun light. Also water tank should be underground or on roof top?
Any other suggestions from experienced home builders are highly appreciated. Jazak Allah.

1. If possible visit my house at plot no. 201 (32.5 x 60 ft.) Ali Block Bahria Town Lahore which is also facing South.
2. If your plot is in a housing scheme the society will tell you on which side to leave the passage and your windows will be in the passage.

Under ground water tanks are usually a problem. sometimes small animals like rats fall into them. They also need regular cleaning.If possible go for surface mounted ground water tank with an overhead water tank. |
