LDA City Lahore: A Comprehensive Overview

LDA City Lahore is a flagship project of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA). Spanning a massive area of over 61,000 Kanals, it is set to become the largest residential project in Pakistan. This mega housing project is located on the main Ferozpur Road, near the famous Lahore Ring Road, making it a prime location for residence and investment.

LDA City Lahore Iqbal Sector

The Iqbal Sector is another major sector in LDA City Lahore. The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) approved the revised plan for the LDA City Iqbal sector in its 5th Annual Governing Body meeting. The Iqbal Sector is currently in its planning phase, so no official details are disclosed. However, this phase will feature the best residential properties, including 5 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 Kanal plots.

The development of the Iqbal Sector is progressing, with 50% of the land acquisition process complete. In addition to apartments, the Iqbal sector is offering 2-Kanal, 1-Kanal, 10-Marla, and 5-Marla residential plots.

LDA City Lahore Plot Sizes and Prices

LDA City Lahore offers a diverse range of residential plots. The primary plot sizes available are 5 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 Kanal4. The prices for these plots vary based on their location and size. As per the latest data, the price range for a 10 Marla residential plot is approximately PKR 40 lakh to PKR 70 lakh. For a 1 Kanal plot, the prices range between PKR 69 lakh and PKR 1.3 crore.

LDA City Lahore Development Status

LDA City Lahore is being developed by international standards. The project was announced on May 19, 2014, and has since seen significant progress. The development status of LDA City Phase I was estimated to be between 50-70% as of April 2019. The project’s completion is anticipated within a rapid four-month timeline.

Possession Updates

In a significant development, hundreds of allottees in LDA City Lahore received possession of their plots on December 30, 2023. This marked the end of an enduring wait of over 11 years. The initial phase witnessed the distribution of possessions to more than 1,500 allottees of C Block.

LDA City Lahore Possession Charges for Block-C

Map Study with Blocks & Current Status of Development

The LDA City Lahore Map shows that there are fifteen (15) blocks. The project is being developed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on a total area of approximately 58,000 Kanals (around 7,250 acres) of land. The development status of each block may vary, and it’s recommended to check the latest updates for the most accurate information.

Development Charges

The development charges for LDA City Lahore have been officially announced for Phase 1. The charges are as follows:

  • 5 Marla: PKR 400,000
  • 10 Marla: PKR 690,000
  • 1 Kanal: PKR 1,150,000
  • 2 Kanal: PKR 2,300,000
